Domestic valve VS imported valve, how would you choose?

Domestic valve VS imported valve, how would you choose? As the saying goes: "The moon is the hometown Ming", but now more and more people are advocating foreign products. In the industrial field, this trend has slowly spread. Let's just talk about an ordinary valve. With the same material and the same function, the price of imported goods can just be doubled. Imported valve products have established their own distinctive style in price, but even if they are expensive, the Chinese are still eager for them.

Are imported valves really that good? Where is the gap between domestic valves and imported valves? How should we close these gaps?

The so-called imported goods refer to products imported with original packaging. From R&D to production, they are completely carried out in foreign countries of origin and strictly comply with foreign standards; joint venture goods, as the name implies, are projects jointly established by Chinese and foreign investors, and foreign countries provide technology, talents, and talents. Brands, etc., are assembled in China, and the products comply with European and American standards; domestic products are designed and manufactured by the Chinese themselves and comply with national standards.

At present, valves have become one of the fastest-growing industries in my country's equipment manufacturing industry. The types of valves are increasing, and various industries have higher and higher requirements for valve quality and technology. But like most of the machinery industry, my country's valve industry is also facing a development bottleneck with a late start and poor foundation. As the foundation of the manufacturing industry, valves are widely used in all walks of life. Therefore, the process of localization of valves has always been an issue of great concern. After years of hard work, my country's valve localization has made very gratifying progress. For example, in the field of valves, China National Nuclear Corporation's Suvalon Nuclear Power Plant has made major breakthroughs in key valves; Kaifeng high-pressure valve million unit WB36 forged steel valve was successfully developed; Chengdu Chengfeng Valve large-diameter flat gate valve, Suzhou Neway Valve ball valve in the "West-East Gas Pipeline" Successful applications on pipelines...In some high-demand fields, my country's valve development and industrialization have performed well. Despite this, when companies purchase, they still lack trust in domestic valves, especially in high-end areas, and they are more interested in importing.

So, which one is better, domestic valve or imported valve? Today, we will analyze from the following points.

Product quality

There is no doubt that quality is a key factor for users to choose a product. The working environment of the valve is usually harsh. Therefore, the quality and service life of the valve are very important. Since foreign research on instrument valves started earlier, they are more advanced than domestic in terms of processing equipment and R&D level. However, in recent years, the quality of valves in my country has also been greatly improved. In the 1980s, my country began to organize key enterprises to introduce advanced design, technology and processing equipment of foreign instrument valves. After decades of absorption and digestion, my country's instrument valve manufacturing technology and quality have been greatly improved.

In the field of low-end valves, the quality of domestic valves is completely comparable to those outside the United States. In the field of high-end valves, my country is also increasing research and development efforts, continuing to invest funds, and has made a series of breakthroughs.

In addition to quality, price is the first factor that users consider when choosing a product. When imported valves pass through customs, the previous tariffs, fire-fighting taxes, etc. must be added, coupled with my country's relatively low labor cost, which makes the production cost of domestic valves far lower than imported valves. It can be said that with the same material and the same function, the price of imported valves is several times that of domestic valves. At the same time, fierce market competition makes companies strive to reduce production costs in order to increase market share. In terms of cost performance, domestic valves have more advantages.

After-sales service of valve products is a key part of marketing management, and users are paying more and more attention to after-sales service. In this regard, domestic valves have a geographical advantage over imported valves. Most of the domestic valve companies have professional engineers who can come to guide and provide complete after-sales service. However, it is more difficult for imported valves to carry out after-sales maintenance and replacement of products in a timely manner.

To be honest, although the functions and materials are the same, there is also a gap between domestic valves and imported valves. This is something that our valve industry must seriously think about. First of all, in terms of material, imported valves should be more refined even if they are called the same material. Secondly, there is a certain gap in the use effect and service life of the valve with the same function. This is because the production technology and process flow of imported valves have reached a relatively sophisticated state, which is unmatched by some small domestic valve manufacturers.

Only by recognizing the gaps that exist can we make progress. We should overcome the difficulties of the valve manufacturing process, improve the inharmonious factors in the development, find the appropriate points of development, and jointly promote the revitalization and improvement of the valve industry. For this reason, it is suggested that valve companies should turn challenges into opportunities, identify their own positioning, and strive to open up domestic and foreign markets to resolve the adverse effects of the crisis. The key to my country's valve companies is to further improve product quality and technical content. Only by laying a solid foundation and unremitting exploration and innovation can my country's valve brands become famous overseas.

At the same time, valve companies that have developed on a certain track can try to open up foreign markets. Opening up the market is a process of continuous self-improvement and development. In fact, it is also a process of enterprise development and growth. At this stage, relevant companies should adopt a "two-legged" strategy based on actual conditions, attach importance to the development of the international and domestic markets, and improve the core competitiveness of valve companies. In the near future, my country's valve companies will be able to catch up with and surpass similar foreign valve companies, contribute to the localization of major valve technology and equipment, and become a powerful country in the valve manufacturing industry.
